DIVERSITY IN LEADERSHIP UPCOMING EVENTS

dli wellness retreat

Registration is now open!

Our Diversity in Leadership Institute Wellness Retreat is a transformative, three-day experience designed to center the healing, restoration, and leadership of equity-driven educators and leaders of color.

📍 Location: The Oaks, San Diego
📅 Dates: June 26–28, 2025

The retreat offers a powerful blend of wellness workshops, affinity-based healing spaces, mindfulness and movement practices, and nature-based reflection. More than just a break from work, the retreat creates sacred space for renewal—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Participants reconnect with their purpose, strengthen community, and walk away equipped to lead with greater clarity, compassion, and sustainability.

As one fellow shared, “This was transformative for me. I leave a different person. My spirit was nurtured and my heart is filled with joy and lightness.” Another noted, “This was unlike any other PD or conference I’ve ever been to. It was about us and about health, not just work work work.”

The Wellness Retreat is a cornerstone of DLI’s commitment to holistic leadership development—because thriving leaders build thriving communities.
